Data Deletion

You are always in control of your Solvago data. You can export it, delete individual items, or delete your entire account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how.

Delete your account and data — in the app

This is the fastest way, and it removes everything.

  1. Open Solvago and go to Settings → Privacy.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm.
  4. If you own any shared trips, choose whether to hand each one to a co-traveler or delete it for everyone.
  5. Your account is scheduled for deletion. It — and every trip, item, photo and email in it — is permanently removed within 30 days, backups included.

Deletion has a short grace period: you can cancel by simply signing in again any time within those 30 days. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone once it completes — trips, timelines, budgets, memories, photos and extracted bookings cannot be recovered.

Delete your data — by email

If you cannot access the app, send a request from the email address linked to your account to [email protected] with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your account details; trips and timelines; bookings extracted from your emails, and any forwarded email originals still on our servers; budgets and expense splits; memories and photos; Discover alerts and preferences; verified sender addresses; and your notification tokens. Shared memory links stop working immediately.

What we may retain

Only what we are legally required to keep — for example records required by accounting or tax law — and aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer be linked to you. Solvago does not charge for the app and has no subscriptions to cancel.

Prefer to export your data first?

Before deleting, you can download a copy of everything. In the app, go to Settings → Privacy → Export my data. We email you a single-use download link within a few minutes; it contains all your trips, items and expenses as a JSON file, and the link expires after 24 hours.

Delete individual items instead

You don’t have to delete everything. Individual trips, bookings, photos and memories can be removed in the app, and you can revoke a shared memory link or remove a verified sender under Settings at any time. For full details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
